THIS LICENSE PROVIDES IMPORTANT INFORMATION CONCERNING THE SOFTWARE, PROVIDES YOU WITH A LICENSE TO USE THE SOFTWARE AND CONTAINS WARRANTY AND LIABILITY INFORMATION. BY USING THE SOFTWARE, YOU ARE ACCEPTING THE SOFTWARE "AS IS" AND AGREEING TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THIS LICENSE AGREEMENT. AGE REQUIREMENT RouteBro is intended for users aged 13 years and older. If you are under 13 years of age, you are not permitted to use this application. By using RouteBro, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. ═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ 2. LOCATION DATA COLLECTION AND USE In order to provide traffic alerts relevant to your commute route, RouteBro requires access to your location data: a) LOCATION PERMISSIONS - RouteBro needs permission to access your location "When In Use" - Location data is used to determine if traffic alerts are relevant to you - Location is checked when you open the app to suppress notifications when you've reached your destination b) LOCATION DATA STORAGE - Your last known location is stored locally on your device - Location data is NOT uploaded to any server or cloud - Location data is used solely for determining alert relevance c) BACKGROUND LOCATION - RouteBro does NOT access your location in the background - Location is only checked when you actively open the app - No continuous location tracking occurs ═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ 3. ANALYTICS AND DATA COLLECTION RouteBro uses Google Analytics (Firebase Analytics) to improve the app experience: a) DATA COLLECTED - App usage statistics (screens viewed, features used) - Device information (OS version, device model) - Crash reports and error logs - Anonymous usage patterns b) PURPOSE - Improve app performance and stability - Understand which features are most valuable - Fix bugs and crashes - Develop new features based on usage patterns c) DATA SHARING - Analytics data is shared with Google/Firebase - Data is anonymized and aggregated - No personally identifiable information is shared - Analytics data helps us improve the service for all users ═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ 4. PUSH NOTIFICATIONS You agree that RouteBro may send push notifications to your device: a) NOTIFICATION TYPES - Traffic alerts for incidents on your commute route - Major delays and accidents - Road closures and construction b) NOTIFICATION CONTROL - You can disable notifications in your device settings - Smart suppression prevents notifications outside commute hours - Notifications are suppressed when you've reached your destination c) NOTIFICATION DATA - Notifications include location information (street addresses) - Notification data is processed through Firebase Cloud Messaging - You can customize notification preferences in the app ═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ 5. DATA STORAGE AND PRIVACY a) LOCAL STORAGE - Traffic alerts are stored locally on your device - Home and work addresses are stored locally - Commute hour preferences are stored locally - Subscribed routes are stored locally b) CLOUD SERVICES - Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications - Apple Maps API for route calculation - TomTom API for traffic flow data c) DATA RETENTION - Traffic alerts are automatically deleted after 1 hour - Location data is refreshed each time you open the app - You can clear all data by uninstalling the app ═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ 6. TERMS OF LICENSE This license allows you to: a) Use the Software on multiple devices b) Receive traffic alerts based on your configured routes c) Customize notification preferences and commute hours ═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ 7. RESTRICTIONS ON USE Unless authorized by RouteBro, you shall not: a) Make or distribute copies of the Software b) Decompile, reverse engineer, or disassemble the Software c) Modify, alter, or create derivative works based on the Software d) Use the Software for any commercial purposes e) Rent, lease, resell, sub-license, assign, or distribute the Software f) Remove or obscure any proprietary notices from the Software Any attempt to do so shall be void and of no effect. ═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ 8. OWNERSHIP AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY This license provides you with limited rights to use the Software. The Owner retains all ownership, right, title and interest in, to and of the Software and all copies of it. All rights not specifically granted in this license, including domestic and international copyrights, are reserved by the Owner. The Owner's logos, product names, manuals, documentation, and other support materials are either patented, copyrighted, trade marked, constitute valuable trade secrets or are otherwise proprietary to the Owner. ═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ 9. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED TO YOU ON AN "AS IS" BASIS, WITHOUT ANY TECHNICAL SUPPORT OR WARRANTY OF ANY KIND INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY WARRANTY OR CONDITION OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. RouteBro does not guarantee: - Accuracy of traffic information - Timeliness of alerts - Availability of the service - Compatibility with all devices ═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ 10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY IN NO EVENT WILL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OF THIS SOFTWARE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: a) Direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages b) Loss of data or profits c) Business interruption d) Reliance on inaccurate traffic information e) Missed alerts or notifications f) Any other damages or losses You use RouteBro at your own risk. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES RouteBro integrates with third-party services: a) Google and Apple Maps Platform - Route calculation and geocoding b) TomTom Maps API - Traffic flow data c) Firebase - Analytics, Cloud Messaging, Crash Reporting Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. ═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════ 12. CHANGES TO THIS AGREEMENT We reserve the right to modify this EULA at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. TERMINATION This license is effective until terminated. Your rights under this license will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any term of this agreement.
